Hi, I'm Brandi
I'm the photographer behind Brandi Michelle Photo, a Houston-based studio for classic and editorial portraits.
Whether it's your first time in front of a camera or your hundredth, every session is built around you: your style, your comfort, your vision. I'll guide you the whole way.
My Story
My path started with a B.F.A. in Photography in 2013, followed by years as a wedding and portrait photographer, capturing people at some of the biggest moments of their lives.
From there I spent almost a decade in the commercial world as a photographer, videographer and director… campaigns, products, video productions, all of it. I brought the same heart to every client and crew I worked with, and that work sharpened everything: lighting, posing, styling, the details.
Alongside all of that, I spent 13 years as a dance teacher and choreographer, and I still run shows as the stage manager and digital creator for a local dance studio.
Opening my own photography studio is my way back to portraits, putting all of that toward what I love most: helping people feel seen, confident and beautiful.
Beyond the Camera
I’ve always had a zest for life… whether I’m performing onstage, exploring artistic concepts, or, back in the day, jumping out of airplanes for fun. Life is too meaningful to just watch it go by, and that’s the energy I bring into every session.

The Studio
The Space
My studio is a private, appointment-only space set up with professional strobe lighting and a flexible layout that changes with every session. It's a calm place to get comfortable, try a few things, and have fun with it.
Prefer your own space or a favorite location? On-location sessions are available too.
What's Included
Every session includes a creative consult beforehand, wardrobe guidance, use of studio furniture and props, and a beverage and snack bar to keep you going between looks.
